Get Wild hockey discounts with hunting or fishing license

Minnesota hunting or fishing license holders can order discounted tickets to Minnesota Wild hockey games at the DNR’s Wild hockey page.

The promotion includes upcoming home games on Monday, Jan. 25, against the Arizona Coyotes; Sunday, Feb. 28, against the Florida Panthers; and Sunday, March 6, against the St. Louis Blues. Ticket prices vary based on game and seating options. For the Jan. 25 game, they are $42.50.

“Hockey, hunting and fishing all bring to mind Minnesota culture and traditions,” said Jenifer Wical, with the outreach section of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. “If you love hockey and the outdoors, this deal is for you.”

A limited number of tickets are available for each game and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. The offer is only available through advance online purchase, and is available to hunting or fishing license holders for 2015 or 2016. The discount is not available at the Xcel Energy Center box office.

Fishing and hunting licenses can be purchased in person, on a mobile device or on the DNR’s licensing Web page.
